Workshop › Klondike Solitaire › Step 36 of 40

A new game

What we are doing

After a win, a tap deals a new game. N deals a new game at any time, because not every Klondike deal can be won. A new deal also lets go of any held card.

```js
drag = null
if (won) return deal()
else if (event.key === 'n' || event.key === 'N') deal()
```

What it means

Your turn

  1. In deal, under piles.stock = deck, write drag = null.
  2. In pointerdown, under const p = toCanvas(event), write the won line.
  3. In the keydown listener, add the N line between the Space line and else return.
